I didn’t just want to settle – I had always thought about owning my own business but it seemed so far out of reach.
After leaving school with only a few qualifications
I went on to study travel and tourism.
I LOVED visiting new places and I’ve been fortunate to travel to beautiful destinations across Europe as a young girl with my parents.
Even with passion for travel I am a home girl at heart.

WHY…
Being in the UK and working in a 9-5 role didn’t sit right with me – I wanted some adventure in my life.
I applied for cabin crew and being “blessed” with my mother’s height I was too short. After getting over the initial disappointment, aged 20, I moved to Spain to pursue my new career. I can honestly say that it was the scariest thing I have done… BUT, the one thing that set my path for the future.
I lived in Spain for 6 years, started my career as a personal assistant and returned to the UK in 2006 to build a new life. I married my husband and we focused on settling down.
Then, in early 2015 my husband was presented with an opportunity for a new job in Dubai. Honest opinion? It tipped our world upside down for a few months. It was high risk as we had so much at stake. Our lives in the UK were great and we had nothing to complain about. Upon reflection, I didn’t want to be ‘that couple’ who looked back in 5 or 10 years’ time and say; ‘remember when we could have moved to Dubai’ – that’s just not us! So we went for it.

I’m a firm believer in the saying; “opportunities come along, if you don’t take them and try, you will never know how your life can change for the better” – this is certainly something I like to live by.

MY BUSINESS, MY WAY…
Initially I wanted to earn a small secondary income, with a vision to build this up to full time. I knew that in the future I wanted to reduce my hours in the corporate world as my dream is to be a full time Mummy and be able to work flexible from home. To know that I won’t miss the first step, a first word or a first anything – that to me is priceless.
I knew it would not be plain sailing and I would have to work hard to balance my career, business and day to day life. I was prepared to do this and remain dedicated to creating a successful future for my family.
My vision grew very quickly and I could also see a way of helping others who wanted to make similar change in their life too! So, I now use my skills, knowledge and experience to help others achieve their desired success.
Having my own business has given me choices, my confidence has grown, my personal development is constantly being enhanced and I have found amazing new friendships.
The income allows me to travel more and most importantly fly to / from the UK every few months. This means the world to me as living in a different country has its own challenges and low days. Being able to see my family frequently is just amazing!
What truly drives me is not only what it’s doing for me personally, but what it can do for others and how I can train and mentor aspiring women to achieve their personal life goals, however big or small. I am inspired by helping others achieve their dreams.
